So in February we had 2 snowstorms within a week! The first one left us with 18 inches, the second with another 24! Poor Clarke was out for two days plowing! The worst part was our road didn't even get plowed until 3 days later! I guess they thought we didn't need to go anywhere..lol.

At the back of our house it was up to the windows!

Wow! So it's been a very long time since an update! I figured it was time for something new.
Life in 2010 has been busy!

Clarke and I are HUGE Phillies fans, so when they made it to the post season we were determined to get to a playoff game.

We made it to game 2 with the pitching match-up of Myers and C.C.

We sat up in the top section, but right behind home plate, so we could see everything!

"Lights Out" Brad Lidge came in to save the game............which we won thanks to Shane Victorino's grandslam off of C.C. in the second inning! The stadium went crazy! It was so awesome. Keep up the good work Phils! On to the Dodgers and then hopefully the World Series....which might I add will fall right around our wedding. And if they make it to the World Series and if a game happens to fall on Saturday, October 25th....who knows what might happen :). We may be showing the game on the big screens!

"My Bridal Shower"

On August 19th, my mom, sisters, and best friends threw me a beautiful wedding shower at my parents' home. I had so many good friends come, and they were all very generous in helping Clarke and I fill our new home.

A Beautiful Rainbow

We had a beautiful rainbow the other day after an afternoon shower. You could see both ends of the rainbow. And if you look closely at the second picture, you can see it was a double rainbow!

Clarke and I have enjoyed having some company to PA this last month!

My sisters and my mom came through PA on their way to visit other family on the east coast. It was so nice to see them and to get to show them my new home!

Our friends Crystal Parra and Todd Mooney were in Lancaster visiting Crystal's grandfather. We went to a baseball game and dinner! It was so good to see them, and we had a great time hanging out. Crystal and Todd are also recently engaged, and they are getting married next May!

"Tents For You"

Clarke currently manages a tent company and hopes to soon be the owner of that tent company 'Tents for You.' So I thought I'd post a few pictures of some of the tents they've done so you can see his fine work!

A beautiful platinum 1.85 carat ring...antique, but modern...just what I hoped for. I love it!
We went to the dunes on Lake Michigan. While skipping rocks he found one for me and said here try this rock. When I turned around to grab it, he was down on one knee with a rock in his hand...just not the kind I was expecting and he asked if I would marry him. Of course I said yes.
We didn't have a camera with us, but this was when we got back to the house to show the family.

Spring Break 2007

In March 2007, we were able to go visit my sister Laurie and her husband Andy who currently live in England while serving in the United Sates Air Force. We had an amazing week.

Our First Post

Welcome to Clarke and Sara's blog.

This is our first of many posts to come.

For those of you who don't know, Clarke and I met a few years ago through my brother Danny. They were very good friends in college, and through him we became acquaintances. But then things changed at the end of 2006...when we became more than acquaintances. :)

Around the holidays, Clarke and I began talking more, which led to texting and phone calls, which led to our 'accidentally being at the same place at the same time'. We kept saying we were just friends and that's it, but what a lie. Then at a family dinner my dad preceded to welcome Clarke to the family.

Well from that day to this Clarke and I have been together. Thank goodness he didn't get up from the table, go get in his truck, and never come back again. Clarke actually thinks the funniest part was my face when my dad started talking. I'm glad he has a sense of humor, because I didn't think it was funny. But I sure am thankful for my dad now!

And the best part is we've both found the ONE we want to spend the rest of our lives with. God is so good, and His timing is perfect!
